The stances are essential to combat. To get access to a certain Skill in battle you'll need to adopt a corresponding stance (sometimes put an enemy into one). Particular actions change your stance, while enemies will force you into some positions if you didn't avoid them. In-Game description is given in italics.
- Basic stances are the simplest and most effective.
- Advanced stances are of very situational use.
- Positions and grapple stances don't have attacking potential. You need to quickly shift from them to better stances.
- Make love, no war.
